About Us

30 years of Colombian tradition and flavor

Our story

Born on a stove, raised on a grill

In 1994, doรฑa Carmen Rodrรญguez lit her first stove in the Chapinero neighborhood with one single mission: to cook what her mother taught her back in the countryside. Slow-cooked beans, charcoal meat, big-pot soups.

What started as a Sunday empanada business became La Leรฑa Parrilla, the restaurant where Bogotรก comes to eat real flavor. Today, 30 years later, we still use the same recipes and the same charcoal as always.

We buy directly from farmers in the Pรกramo de Chingaza and the Savanna of Bogotรก. No middlemen, no preservatives. Just honest ingredients and fire.

What drives us

Our values

๐Ÿค

Trust

Every dish leaves our kitchen as if we were cooking it for our own family.

๐ŸŒฑ

Sustainability

We reduce waste and support the peasant economy by buying local and seasonal.

โค๏ธ

Community

We are part of the neighborhood. We sponsor football teams, festivals and the community kitchen.

๐ŸŽฏ

Consistency

The ajiaco tastes the same on a Tuesday as on a Saturday. Because the recipe doesn't change and neither does the care.

๐Ÿ”ฅ

Craft

Nothing comes from industrial packaging. Our chorizos, sauces and sides are 100% homemade.

๐Ÿ˜Š

Hospitality

You arrive as a customer, you leave as family. That's the philosophy doรฑa Carmen taught us from day one.
